wow, this thing still works

well, this is pretty crazy.  i haven't used this thing in like a year and a half.  man, life flies by.  i remember when getting on xanga, posting, and reading posts was like the highlight of highschool night life.  i guess the technology, media, and medium through which my precious time is absorbed has been altered a bit the past few years.
just got from the youth leadership retreat this afternoon.  it was pretty swell, a little wet and cold, but altogether swell.  i guess that's it, oh and i love jenny nelson.  the end

where has the time gone?  can you believe it will be fall in just a few days? yet, it is still 100 degrees outside...that's texas for ya.  so yeah, i've gotta say that God is so cool.  this past weekend, chase carlisle and i got to lead a youth retreat at sky ranch and it was absolutely amazing.  God did some really cool things and it was so awesome to be a part of that and watch him work.  i hope you all are having wonderful days and that we make ourselves invisible so God can do his work.

make Him famous

It would be no fool of a man to give up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.
